Activity: Film Making Project

In partnership with HOME SLOUGH, young people joined in on sessions that were delivered on a weekly basis for young people aged 11-25 years old to celebrate Slough heritage by facilitating them to make their own short film about their home/community of Britwell, Slough.

Young people researched their community, made story boards and a script, went out and about into the community and spoke with community members to create their short films.  Young people learned a wide range of transferable skills, and have learned to ‘give back’ to their community through a volunteering scheme which they have designed themselves.

To celebrate the end of the project and to showcase all the hard work young people put in, the film was released on a ‘Film Night’ at BYCP on Friday December 14th 2018.
